Jarred graduated from the University of New England physical therapy program in 2004, and has participated in extensive continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedics and manual therapy.  In 2015, he received his board certification in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy specialties.  Jarred has worked in various practice settings across the country and joined Advanced Physical Therapy in 2017 as the managing partner of the Terryville office.

Adam graduated from CCSU in 2018 with his Bachelors of Athletic Training and has been dedicated to the field. He currently pursuing his Doctor of Athletic Training from Temple University. Adam was part of multiple division I teams at CCSU and traveled to Oregon for the NCAA baseball tournament with the blue devils. Adam is passionate about being a part of the entire injury process from on site care, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention. He works closely with our physical therapists and physical therapy assistants to bring a comprehensive approach to our patients and student-athletes. He has worked with tactical and industrial athletes and looks to continue this work. You can find Adam on a sideline of a Wolcott Eagle or Terryville Kangaroo game supporting the athletic programs as Head Athletic Trainer. He also is part of the Athletic Training program development team, bringing top programming to our communities to enhance the patient outcomes and goals of activity. 


Travia

Travis Raupers  , PTA

Travis joined the  United States Air Force immediately after graduating High School in 2009. After re-entering the civilian world in 2013, Travis suffered a shoulder injury and was referred to an outpatient physical therapy clinic for treatment. He was profoundly affected by his interest in the process of physical therapy and accepted a part time position as an exercise tech, taking patients through various exercises to further aid in their rehabilitation. After recognizing the impact he was making in his community and the joy he was bringing to others, Travis made the decision to enter physical therapy assistant school in 2017. Travis’ areas of special interest include elective joint replacement, post stroke rehabilitation, SI joint dysfunction, and soft tissue mobilization. When he’s not enjoying precious time with his wife, daughter and 2 dogs, Travis’ hobbies include travel, personal fitness, intramural sports, skiing, biking, and lawn games with an emphasis on spike ball. Travis joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in 2022 and looks forward to utilizing his passion and knowledge to maximize his patients quality of life.
