Dave graduated from Northeastern University’s Physical Therapy program magna cum laude in 2000. He has participated in extensive continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedics and sports physical therapy. In 2006, Dave began a quarterly sports medicine and orthopedic journal club to discuss current topics in our field with some of our area physicians and rehabilitation professionals. Dave has served as a part time instructor at Naugatuck Valley Community College in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. In addition to his work as a physical therapist, Dave is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has worked with recreational, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes to improve their sport performance through core strengthening and sport-specific flexibility, strength, and balance training.
Kevin Tucker, DPT

Dr. Tucker graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. Kevin went on to continue his education at the University of Connecticut graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2020. Kevin’s areas of special interest include the shoulder, knee and spine. Outside of the clinic Kevin enjoys fishing, golfing and going on hikes. Kevin joined Advanced Physical Therapy in 2020 at the Torrington office.
