Dave graduated from Northeastern University’s Physical Therapy program magna cum laude in 2000. He has participated in extensive continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedics and sports physical therapy. In 2006, Dave began a quarterly sports medicine and orthopedic journal club to discuss current topics in our field with some of our area physicians and rehabilitation professionals. Dave has served as a part time instructor at Naugatuck Valley Community College in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. In addition to his work as a physical therapist, Dave is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has worked with recreational, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes to improve their sport performance through core strengthening and sport-specific flexibility, strength, and balance training.

Dr. Donnelly graduated from the University of Hartford summa cum laude, valedictorian in 2004 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. She was awarded the University’s Regents Award, the Physical Therapy Department’s academic award and the faculty leadership award. Tara graduated with a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2007. She was awarded the prestigious Mary McMillan Award by the American Physical Therapy Association. Her extensive post-graduate training includes a year long Orthopedic Manual Therapy course with an emphasis on spine care in 2005 at the Institute of Rehabilitation and Training in Montgomery, AL. She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Tara has lectured on both the state and national level regarding bio-mechanics and overuse injuries of the lower extremity. Tara has been actively involved in both the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Tara has extensive knowledge and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic patients.

Russell graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences in 2014, and completed his Doctoral of Physical Therapy at the University of Connecticut in May 2017. As a recent graduate, he is very excited and motivated to begin his career as a physical therapist. He enjoys treating all varieties of musculoskeletal injuries and patients, and particularly enjoys working with children and adolescent patients. Russell played baseball growing up, which developed his affinity for treating shoulder injuries and working with throwing and overhead athletes. He is currently in the process of publishing a study researching the role the cervical spine plays in predisposing collegiate baseball pitchers to arm injuries during the course of a baseball season.

Ryan graduated Mount Saint Mary College with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford in 2018. He enjoys treating a wide variety of sports related injuries and also discovered particular enjoyment in treating adolescents after completing a clinical rotation with Westview Sports Medicine and having the opportunity to work with athletes from Pomfret School. Ryan grew up playing baseball and soccer from childhood through his college years, which helped to develop a clinical fondness for rehabbing shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries.

Kevin graduated from the University of Hartford in 1999 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Science in Physical Therapy. He was elected into the Alpha Chi Honor Society while at Hartford. He then completed his Masters in Physical therapy at Quinnipiac University with a focus on orthopedics in 2007. He graduated with a GPA of 3.92. Throughout his career, Kevin has worked at orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He specializes in treatment of high school and collegiate athletes as well at those with age-related issues. He has attended multiple continuing education courses focusing on both operative and non-operative rehabilitation techniques. He also has trained at the Andrews Institute under the world-renowned Dr. James Andrews. He has assisted in the development of baseball specific rehabilitation protocols and is currently implementing a Functional Movement Screening program in area high schools to help reduce injury in high school athletes.

Dr. Hubert attended Quinnipiac University from 2005-2013 graduating with her bachelors in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine in 2009 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in January 2013. While pursuing her DPT, she served as Associate Athletic Trainer at Cheshire Academy and graduate assistant Athletic Trainer at Quinnipiac University. As part of her doctoral research project with Quinnipiac University, Pam worked alongside lymphedema specialist’s trailing kinesiology tape in the management of lymphedema. The research was accepted by the National Lymphedema Network and American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting for presentation. Pam also specializes in the treatment of vertigo, vestibular disorders, and management of head injuries after concussions.

Dr. Ingriselli graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2010 with his degree in Athletic Training and went on to receive his masters degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While attending his masters program Joe also spent time conducting research on concussion rehabilitation at the Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center. Joe is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. Joe followed up his masters by returning to UCONN to receive his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy in 2015. He has worked with elite division one and professional athletes and is passionate about restoring function and returning people to the activities they love.


Tim Lincoln, DPT

Tim graduated from the University of Connecticut with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He received clinical training at some of the top institutions in the country including Yale, Ohio State University and Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston. He has experience treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological and sports injuries. With this experience he brings a competitive edge to Advanced PT, being a former highly competitive wrestler and current half marathon runner. Tim enjoys working with patients of all age levels, especially those trying to get back into shape or athletes returning to the playing field.

Dr. Manganello graduated from Simmons College with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005.  She has worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics for her career and has been teaching a continuing education course around the country for kinesiology taping technique and movement assessment since 2011.  She has worked with 2 USA swim teams working on injury prevention.  Dr. Manganello’s expertise includes exercise and movement therapy and manual techniques with a special focus on restoring function and mitigating disability for injured clients.

Erica completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program at Sacred Heart University from 2015 through 2016. Erica also recently presented at the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) Fall Conference in 2016: Incorporating Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, and Neuromuscular Reeducation using Redcord Based Theory in the Management of Shoulder Pain. Kevin graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences in 2012.  Kevin went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Connecticut in May 2015.  Kevin is a certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, as well as a Conditioning Specialist.  He enjoys treating sports related injuries and holds a certification through the Titleist Performance Institute as a level 2 medical professional.  Kevin ran Division I track and field as an undergrad at UCONN and went on to be a part of the coaching staff while in graduate school.  Kevin is a Level 1 coach through USA Track and Field and enjoys treating runners with a variety of injuries.

Shannon is a graduate from the Naugatuck Valley Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program. She has worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting since 2013, as Rehab Aide, in which she familiarized herself with the clinical setting, while preparing for future clinical as a therapist.   While in the PTA program, Shannon was involved in the Association on Women’s Health as a student representative. Since graduation, Shannon has become the PTA Affairs Liaison for the CT chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Since beginning her professional career as a PTA, Shannon has continued her advanced education to receive certification in treatment of Lymphedema (CLT) and SFMA certification. Shannon enjoys working with patients of all ages and ability levels with particular interest in orthopedics, post-surgical rehab, and neurological and balance disorders. In her free time, Shannon enjoys outdoor activities and fitness.

Ryan attended Springfield College in Massachusetts from 2014 to 2018, graduating with his Bachelors in Athletic Training. During his time at Springfield College, Ryan covered Division I and Division III sports including ice hockey, men’s and women’s gymnastics and softball, Ryan also completed two clinical internships at Secondary Schools during the time. Ryan completed a highly competitive and rigorous internship at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World in Orlando, FL between his Junior and Senior Year of his undergraduate career. During Ryan’s senior year at Springfield College, he completed research into the rate of hip injuries in Division III ice hockey players.  Ryan is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification, a Licensed Athletic Trainer through the State of Connecticut and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Andy brings 19 years of athletic training experience to Advanced Physical Therapy and serves as the head ATC for the New Britain Bees professional baseball team.  Andy spent a third of his professional career as athletic trainer for the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system from 2003-2008, and off season stops in the Arizona Fall League.  Andy made his next stop in Dunedin, Florida, garnering a Florida State Athletic Trainer of the Year award in 2008.  He then moved on to a position outside of Charlotte, NC.

Andy is excited to return to his home state of Connecticut with his wife, Jill, and his 3 children.


Taylor Pearsall, ATC

Taylor attended Lynchburg College from 2011-2015, graduating with her Bachelors in Athletic Training with a minor in Spanish in 2015.  Suring her time at Lynchburg, Taylor covered sports including field hockey, women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, along with completing 2 rotations in a secondary school setting.  While at Lynchburg, she also performed research in hydration testing.  Before joining APT, Taylor worked at Rehab Associates of Central Virginia and Eastern Montgomery High School.  Taylor is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
